Victor (Vic) Macias is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor and native to the Mojave Desert since arriving to the United States when he was two years of age. After completing his bachelor's degree at Northern Arizona University with an emphasis in Public Agency Services he dedicated his first year of professional service to the marginalized Homeless of Southern Nevada as an AmeriCorps member, an agency whose mission is "to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering." Following this year of service, he went on to earn a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). Victor demonstrated his passions for social justice and cultural diversity when engaged as a Graduate Teaching Assistant collaborating in clinical studies for The Bully Free anti-bullying school-wide program, as well as, when teaching Multicultural Issues in Counseling to undergraduate students at UNLV. He has been licensed as a therapist in Arizona since 2015 and has worked with a variety of patients and clinical presentations.
