Counselor

Tarina began her career in the mental health field in 2009 and has a variety of experiences and expertise. Tarina has supported a wide range of populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, women and children fleeing domestic violence, adults in crisis, transitional-age youth with severe mental illness, and adults with substance use concerns. She specializes in helping neurodiverse families and individuals with depression. Shifting from a planned career as a math teacher, Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in clinical psychology, graduating in 2016, and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California.

Jessica is passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and helping families better understand and connect with one another. Her background in both education and mental health allows her to bring a collaborative, compassionate, and structured approach to therapy. Born and raised in San Diego, Jessica enjoys baseball (especially the Padres), puzzles, true crime documentaries, comedy, and spending time with her family’s five dogs.
