Global Research Coordinator

Maia is the global research coordinator for the Cortica Innovation Network. In this role, she has been the lead research coordinator for four sponsored clinical trials, including one therapeutic device and three investigational pharmaceuticals focused on pediatric ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. Prior to this, she was the research coordinator for an NIH-sponsored collaboration between Cortica and the University of California, San Francisco, using magnetic resonance imaging to identify neuroanatomical differences in children with sensory processing disorders. Maia oversees the research performed across Cortica centers and personally manages participant enrollment and ongoing study visits at Cortica’s northern California site. She received her bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology and Disability Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
