M. Dawn Hunt began her career in the mental health field in 1999 and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. She brings experience from private practice, school-based mental health, and telehealth, working collaboratively with children, adults, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Dawn specializes in supporting children and families navigating autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, developmental differences, and life transitions. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and neurodiversity affirming. Dawn enjoys partnering with families and believes parents and caregivers are essential members of the treatment team. She earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counselor Education and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Florida.

Outside of work, Dawn enjoys reading, writing, spending time in nature, mindfulness practices, and continuing to learn about neuroscience, human development, and holistic approaches to well-being.
