Kira Parris-Moore began her career in 2002 in Charleston, SC as a mental health tech at a children’s group home after receiving her bachelor’s in psychology. She then went on to pursue her graduate degree at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL and specialized in Marriage and Family Therapy. As an LMFT, she has worked with every age group in a variety of settings from outpatient to inpatient services. Kira applies a variety of evidence-based practices to promote wellness.

As a proud mom of two neurodivergent sons, Kira is passionate about helping families navigate obstacles that accompany a new diagnosis and inspiring hope to those families by offering them the support and resources they need to get through this challenging time. Kira enjoys spending time with family, vacationing, reading, writing, exercising, trying out new restaurants, and attending concerts of her favorite artists.
