
Anissa Lomba, LICSW (MA #128524)
Counselor
Anissa is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who is passionate about supporting neurodiverse populations across the lifespan. Currently, at Boston Medical Center, she conducts psychosocial assessments, facilitates access to resources, and delivers trauma-informed care to high-need families. Her work is grounded in a strong commitment to health equity and community-based mental health services.
In a variety of roles at the Justice Resource Institute (JRI) for five years, Anissa gained extensive experience supporting children and adolescents with complex emotional and behavioral needs in both school-based and home-based environments. Her time at JRI deepened her clinical expertise and further affirmed her dedication to providing individualized, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.
Anissa Lomba holds a master’s degree in social work from Simmons University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at William James College. In her free time, she enjoys running, spending time with her dog, and connecting with family and friends.
