You have options when it comes to the cost of autism care. Most of our services at Cortica are covered under PPO plans.

Accessible Care

Our goal is to make Cortica financially accessible to as many families as possible. We tailor your child's recommended plan with many things in mind, including what's financially feasible for your family.

No matter what your situation, we can do a lot. Take comfort in knowing that you have options. Your Family Consultant can help devise a treatment plan you can afford and is always there to help should you have questions about your coverage or your bill. You can rely on Cortica for honesty, accuracy, and transparency.

Insurance Coverage

Health insurance can be dizzyingly complex, especially when it comes to paying for therapies for autism and other developmental conditions. We will work alongside your family to ensure you are informed and prepared.

Cortica is an in-network provider with the following insurance plans:

While we are steadily contracting with new insurance carriers, Optum, HealthNet, Molina, Kaiser, Sharp, and most all HMO plans do not cover Cortica care. Cortica is also unable to accept Medicare or Medi-Cal plans.

All long-distance services, including tele-therapy and telemedicine, are self-pay only; Cortica cannot bill these visits to your insurance.

Estimating Out-of-Pocket Expenses

Your insurance may cover some or all of therapy charges. Your Family Consultant at Cortica can help you estimate your monthly out-of-pocket expenses, including co-pays or any services your insurance doesn't cover. We make every effort to provide timely and accurate statements, and request payment within 30 days of receipt.

Payment Options

Upon receiving a statement, you can make a payment in person, by phone, or online at Cortica's patient portal. In addition to insurance coverage, we accept checks, credit cards, debit cards or HSA cards.

Once your family is enrolled at Cortica, you will receive more comprehensive information to help you understand your coverage, benefits, the claims process, and your bill. As always, we are here to help.
