Nataly is a registered nurse and pediatric nurse practitioner. While studying to become a pediatric nurse practitioner, she began to work more with children, sparking her passion for treating children with neurodevelopmental differences.
At Cortica, Nataly is an integral part of the medical team and the nutrition program. She helps with all aspects of child care, including conducting evaluations, making diagnoses, and prescribing medications. Nataly monitors and maintains the progress of children and serves as a resource to help families prioritize recommendations for ongoing care.
Nataly has more than 10 years of experience in neurodevelopment, neonatal intensive care, dermatology, pulmonary care, emergency care, medical-surgical, and primary care settings. She also has a passion for community service, including community outreach through AmeriCorps, providing medical care to children in rural areas of El Salvador, and organizing several fundraising events for vulnerable populations.
Nataly received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (Registered Nurse) and a Master of Science in Nursing (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Loyola University of Maryland.
