Kyla is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the Chicagoland area. Kyla received her MA in Community Counseling from Argosy University. She also received her BA in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa. Kyla’s journey from her hometown of Waterloo, IA to Chicago has led her on a path of a plethora of experiences and knowledge through working at places such as Metropolitan Family Services, The Women’s Treatment Center, Synergy Behavioral Health at the University of Chicago (ER department) and Cook County Health at Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention center.

Kyla is dedicated to advocacy in mental health awareness and eliminating the stigma of mental health. She incorporates an integrative approach to therapy and believes the path to healing is unique to each individual. In her spare time, Kyla enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, learning about other cultures, shopping, taking long walks, and enjoying nature.
