Marriage and Family Therapist
Kasey Tippets is a Licensed Marriage Family Child Therapist and a proud Southern Californian. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Family Life from the University of Brigham Young in Provo Utah and a Master’s Degree from University of Phoenix. While pursuing her masters Kasey was a Social Worker Supervisor and Program Manager for seven years working with family’s and young adults in the foster care setting. In this setting she was able to work with families and individuals in building relationships and connections within their communities and building a forever home. During this time Kasey also worked for the San Juan Unified School District working as a Mental Health Counselor where she worked with ages 4 to 18 in the school settings as well as doing some family sessions at their wellness center. Focusing on working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and building social skills.
Kasey is a very passionate therapist and found her passion for this field though her own personal experiences and built a desire to be a support to other individuals and families who may be going through similar circumstances. She loves meeting her clients where there are and finding new and creative ways to best meet their needs. Cortica’s mission is very dear to her heart and she is excited to be part of our team to help support our families and clients on their journey at Cortica.
