Dr. Christine Freemer, MD

Pediatrician

Dr. Christine Freemer is a board-certified general pediatrician with a passion for caring for children who have developmental and behavioral challenges, either in isolation or as part of complex medical issues. For her, there is nothing more satisfying than helping these children and their families in making a diagnosis (or at the very least, ruling out what they can, and identifying the issues which need to be addressed) and creating a plan of management that meets the child’s needs, as well as their family’s needs. She also finds it very fulfilling to watch our plans and goals evolve over time. As each patient achieves one goal, another is created, and this enables them to achieve their fullest potential.

Before joining Cortica, Dr. Christine Freemer worked in a variety of general pediatric settings where she had the privilege of caring for many children and their families who were challenged by developmental and behavioral challenges, many of which occurred within the context of complex medical issues. In caring for these patients, she has seen children achieve goals that were once considered “impossible.” These incredible patients and their families inspire her to continue to find ways to open doors that had been closed to them and to utilize the power of their resilience to help them achieve as many of their goals as possible.

Dr. Christine Freemer completed her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She then completed her general pediatric internship and residency at Boston Children’s Hospital. After my residency, she did additional training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital.
