Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Christine received her Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut and went on to complete a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Pediatric Primary Care from Duke University. Christine has a diverse background-working as a pediatric registered nurse with hematology/oncology patients at Duke University Hospital and in the home health setting with complex ventilated patients. As a Nurse Practitioner, Christine spent time in pediatric primary care with a special focus on newborn development and the last 2 years in the pediatric surgery department at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Christine has a strong interest in education and is currently pursuing her doctorate at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington with a focus on creative approaches to patient and family education using animation & graphics.
